EVENT: Field Day

DATE: June 24-25

LOCATION: Frazier Elementary School

This is a smoke free, and alcohol free area.

FARC's Field Day 2017 will be held at Frazier Elementary School's athletic field, 1835 Gum Tree Lane, Fallbrook. Access is from East entrance ( last gated entrance), vehicle access to field is limited to vehicles transporting equipment only, Parking is on black top close to stairs to field.

From the corner of N. Stage Coach Lane & Gum Tree Lane (Thomas Brothers map code 1027 J-1), drive east on Gum Tree and use last gated entrance.

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JUNE 23

6 PM: Plan, marking antenna locations, set up awning and RV.


SATURDAY, JUNE 24

7 AM: Set up start. antennas erected, cables strung and rigs connected.

11 AM: On-air operations begin!


The Fabulous FARC Pot Luck at Field Day, June 25 at 6:00pm.

This year the club is providing the meat main course, paper plates & utensils so we ask that persons other than club members and family, that participate in the potluck please make a donation to cover your portion. To round out the meal, please bring a main/side dish, or dessert, or salad to share.

SUNDAY, JUNE 25
Official end at 11 AM or whenever the operators run out of steam, the antennas are brought down, the rigs are stowed and the grounds are cleaned. If you visited the Field Day site earlier, please come again around 10 AM and help with tear down. Comes down quicker than goes up.

COME ONE, COME ALL!

Everyone is welcome at FARC Field Day 2017, even non-licensed folks who can get on the air under the watchful eye of a licensed control operator.
