N6FQ Repeaters host a local ARES Net, Every Tuesday 7:00 pm

 

The Fallbrook Amateur Radio Club meets at 3:00 PM on the first Saturday of the month at the Roy Noon Hall, 231 E. Hawthorne St. Map

It is our purpose to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community, with an emphasis on emergency communications.


Visitors are always welcome to attend the meetings.





Commission For American Radio Relay League Membership

The club can receive a $2 commission for every regular renewal. And we can retain $15 for each new regular and senior membership submitted. A new member is defined as any individual who has never been a member of ARRL or any individual who has not retained a membership for two or more calendar years prior to the application submission. Club Supports

Club members support local emergency communications via the Fallbrook N6FQ repeaters, located atop Red Mountain in Fallbrook. From this site our antennas have coverage of Fallbrook, Rainbow, Bonsall, De Luz and the surrounding communities.

Club members support North County Fire Protection District and North County CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) communications, and supplys backup communications for the Red Cross and Fallbrook Hospital.

The Dewey Emergency Communications Center, the base for amateur radio operators who provide communications help during an emergency, it is located within the Emergency Operations Center for the North County Fire Protection District.

Club members support Cal Fire's (CDF) Volunteers In Fire Prevention's (VIP) specialized group of HAM radio operators volunteers that provide additional communication networks for Cal Fire during emergencies including wildland fires, earthquakes, floods. N6FQ repeaters coverage of rural  North County  is used for a auxiliary net for Red Flag Fire Patrols during times of high fire threat. Cal Fire facilitates the repeater site in return for our communications support.

The club organizes communication volunteers and nets for community events such as the Avocado Festival and the Christmas Parade.

Fallbrook 75 Meter Net Each Thursday Evening

Fallbrook 75 meter net meets every Thursday 8pm on 3.924 MHz ± 5kc.
Join us if you can for ragchew, intellectual conversation (lots of wind) technical talk or anything you might want to bring up.
